I'm Louis Zhang: mechanical engineering, software, robotics, and a playable portfolio world stitched from the same project data.
I'm Louis, a Mechanical Engineering student at Polytechnique Montréal. I bridge the gap between hardware and software — from designing lunar transport systems with CATIA to building full-stack apps with Next.js.
I've interned at Lockheed Martin and the City of Montreal, with an upcoming role at Tesla's Gigafactory. On the competition circuit, I've won hackathon awards at ConUHacks and RoboHacks.
My portfolio is also a game — sail through the islands to discover projects the other way.

The website explains the work directly. The game turns the same portfolio data into an explorable island map, with missions, project encounters, and a ship-based interface.
Best on desktop — on mobile this is a preview; play the full game on a computer.
Each project bubble drifts toward the center magnet. Hover through the field to scatter the cluster, then watch it pull itself back together.
